Upcoming Metalsmithing Classes/Special Events (scroll down for details or use links)
Offering a variety of metalsmithing classes (fabrication, soldering, etching) in Wisconsin. The classes offer you the opportunity to travel to some of Wisconsin’s desirable locations such as Peninsula Art School in Fish Creek (Door County) and Shake Rag Alley in beautiful Mineral Point. If the cosmopolitan scene is for you, travel to Madison for the Art Glass and Bead Show, or to Milwaukee for the week long international Bead and Button show!
Please read the class descriptions and supplies lists at each website carefully as
some of the classes have been slightly modified from one another in order to
accommodate available time slots, equipment and facilities. Space is limited and
registration timing may vary at the different locations. Specific project photos
can be seen at each website link. Additional classes for 2012 will be added at a
later time. The descriptions below list some of the general techniques used for
each project or workshop. The 3 day workshops are designed for students to create their own projects although I will provide ideas and samples as examples.
One on One private instruction is available in my studio (Stoughton, WI) in silver fabrication, soldering and basic PMC techniques. I can also bring my tools and mobile workshop to your home or bead shop to teach multiple students. Please inquire.
