Upcoming Classes/Special Events
Offering 4 different workshops in metalsmithing this summer at various locations around Wisconsin! The locations offer you the opportunity to travel to some of Wisconsin’s most unique and sought after travel destinations such as Fish Creek in Door County, Madeline Island on the shores of Lake Superior and historic and beautiful Mineral Point. Class spaces are limited so sign up soon.
Learn how to set up your own metals workspace and create your own signature designs with silver in the Joy of Metalsmithing class as Shake Rag Alley in Mineral Point. Introductory soldering is being taught at Peninsula Art School in Fish Creek. The “Back to Charm School” bracelet project class at the Madeline Island School of the Arts will show you the basics of metalsmithing to craft a fun and unique charm bracelet. Utilize your collections of found objects, river stones and beach glass to embellish the silver charms that you will craft in the class. The silver earrings project class is a fun and easy way to learn basic metals fabricating techniques and go home wearing a pair of sterling silver earrings that you have just made.
